Raf Simons and Dior

It’s been confirmed: Raf Simons is Dior’s new Creative Director. After many years at the helm of the maison Jil Sander (which he left on February, 27th) and having been among the favourite names to fill the vacant post at Dior’s, the Belgian designer has been appointed to take over from John Galliano.

According to official sources, Simons will be in charge of haute couture, prêt-à-porter collections and women’s accessories. The debut is set for July during the couture week in Paris.
